Reflecting on Inspirations Beyond Drawing

My artwork springs from deeply rooted interests in the use of line and the drawing process. I use richly layered line as the primary means of building images and communicating emotion. Inspiration for my art comes from images and feelings that play a daily role in my own life.  I am drawn to subjects and environments that are constantly moving and changing. I have a particular interest in depicting these movements, and then using that depiction in my art to convey a subtle emotion to the viewer.
